Fordham IT is pleased to announce that all devices accessing Fordham public networks will be required to authenticate to the Fordham NAC on the first day of each month, rather than once a week. Compliance scanning, currently performed only on Windows-based devices, will also occur once a month instead of weekly. This change is effective February 1, 2014.
We constantly monitor our network for suspicious activity. When we identify issues, as we have in the past, access to the network will be restricted and the owners of the affected devices will be asked to contact IT Customer Care for assistance.
We ask that all members of the Fordham community be good network and Internet citizens by keeping up to date their antivirus, application/operating system patches and firewalls to protect both themselves and the university community.
